WuWanWo means “forget me not”, an apt name for a product with unique origins and unforgettable flavor. WuWanWo is a collaborative effort between Piranske Soline and Taiwanese soy sauce makers.  They have woven their centuries-old traditions together to create a soy sauce with a sweet, oceanic aroma and meaty taste.

This precious gourmet soy sauce is produced in Taiwan using only indigenous black soybeans, Piranske Soline sea salt, brown sugar and natural seasonings with no preservatives and all non-GMO ingredients.

The soy sauce artisans start by dry fermenting the soybeans with spices and brown sugar.  Then they pack them into three-foot-tall terra cotta pots with coarse sea salt from the Secovlje Salina salt pans of Slovenia.  The producers then cover the pots and leave them to ferment for 180 days, after which they remove the lids and extract the finished product.   

An excellent umami foundation for marinades, salad dressings.  It elevates sashimi, sushi, spring rolls, tempura, or dumplings and other light dishes.
